Valencia Gowing

and I’m a designer.

MISSION

I am a human being, perpetual student, and creative person living in Brooklyn. Over the last decade, I’ve led world-class social media and influencer teams, and built strategies and creative content, for brands like Slack, InVision, and Skechers.

With this new body of design work, I plan to continue doing what I’ve always done: wear many hats and do work I’m proud of. I hope to add my new design skills to my brand-building repertoire and continue to help brands build lasting identities that not only break through the noise but truly connect.

  • I create visually captivating and functional packaging solutions that protect and present a product while communicating the brand message and value.

  • I enjoy the art of arranging and designing letters, numbers, and characters in a visually harmonious and impactful manner to convey information, evoke emotions, and enhance the overall aesthetics of a piece of text or graphic.

  • I enjoy wearing many hats and also love to explore art direction, photo styling, and photography. I also have 10 years of experience with marketing and brand strategy, including copywriting, voice and tone, creative direction and beyond.
